Campaign update - #savethedoorstepdropin
We have had a great response to our campaign #savethedoorstepdropin. We had many offers of help from supporters at the AGM last week and are in touch with those people to work together on fundraising and awareness raising.
We are working on a statistics document, full of information to be used for fundraising with easily quotable figures and facts.
We have set up an online petition which has so far gained over 400 signatures; please use this link to sign it to show your support:
We will be putting this signature to use tomorrow afternoon at the cabinet meeting, where our Director, Beth Knighton, will be speaking to cabinet to put forward Doorstep’s case to receive some of the £1million transition funding We are inviting all past and present families, supporters, friends, collaborators, staff, volunteers, neighbours and everyone to come and support our bid. We are a community-based family centre and we know how important the Drop-In is to you all.
