An evening to inspire

2016-05-04

We were pleased to host an open evening on Tuesday 3 May for people interested in volunteering here at Doorstep. Nicola Holmes-Brown, our Services Manager, was on hand with information about the range of opportunities on offer. Whether you want to learn to cook in our café, help out with families or young people, or sit on our Board of Trustees, Doorstep has a real variety of possibilities. We're proud of the training, support and development we offer our volunteers, and if you've been into the centre, chances are you've encountered some of our amazing current volunteers.

You can find out more here.

Doorstep is a fantastic centre. Out of all the 'stay and play' centres this has to be one of the most enriching. The longer opening hours make it unique as other centres have very limited sessions and times. Long live Doorstep!
